So Marcus Morris of course lashed out at Phoenix and its fans after being traded without his brother feeling he had been scorned or something. Phoenix is afraid Markieff may also feel the same way, and that could derail their season like last year with locker room issues, so it would be good to sort it out before even training camp. Memphis brings the Morris twins back together and fixes the issue of them being apart, they also add much needed depth to the PF position, as well as MUCH more needed shooting, especially outside shooting, shooting a combined 6 attempts per game from outside the arc and connecting at an average of 35%, especially from the 4 man position (they also play Memphis "nasty" ball and are aggressive), they also bring in a veteran in Blake to the reserve guard spot, Joeger thrives on having smart, older veterans leading his team and Blake is a solid proven vet who can contribute when injuries come knocking, dont think he will get many minutes but he will be a good locker room presence, also this sort of also frees some minutes up on the wings even with Barnes, the twins will be acclimated with playing with Wright from when he was on Phoenix last year and should be able to help with the overall team chemistry standpoint. Both Morris twins are also locked up for the next 4 years on what will look like extreme bargain contracts next year.

Phoenix clears a potential headache and brings in a young prospect and Green who can play both the 3 and the 4 and potentially give them a leg up (if at worst breaking even) to the team they tried to build this offseason, and with Green coming off the books at the end of they year they will have the financial flexibility to resign him or have a sizeable amount of cap space to sign someone else as well as a second round pick.

Detroit frees up some cap space and brings in a couple of young prospects that can grow with the team and are more admissible to having a potential headcase (because of seperation issues) of Marcus Morris and the old steve Blake

The Morris twins are better off apart as teammates due to their spoiled behavior and their arrest of assault(still pending). Although the Grizzlies are a veteran team who are capable of taking the twins under their wing, it's for the best the twins learn to play without each other on the same team for the sake of their maturity and respective careers. It wouldn't surprise me if Kieff gets moved to another team between now and the trade deadline(depending on his twitter rage at the Suns for trading his brother).

If Morris was traded here, he would be a backup to Z-Bo here. He's not considered a SF like his brother Marcus currently is. I do agree that a situation like the Grizzlies atmosphere would do wonders for Morris's personality and attitude for the better. It's just that the pieces the Grizzlies could offer the Suns may not be what they are looking for right now.

Right and we need a floor spacing big man and last year having a solid backup PF was one of our biggest flaws. So having him like a 6th man would be best, then if we did get Marcus he would play behind Barnes, I'd really like to see what Barnes can do starting with TA and ZBo, talk about "NASTAY" , also give us some flexibility to cut Jamychal Green and sign Nate Robinson or another C , (given we do the 3 team trade as written) however there is one other option Memphis might be higher on , trading Carter, Stokes, Jamychal Green and maybe 2 second round picks , Morris value isn't very high right now and Carter would be a good Vet for them and he has played for them before , and they can definitly use him more than we can, then Green is someone we can definitely look to flip

Finally Memphis is showing tentative interest in Morris, the heat, hornets, raptors seem to be outside contenders, Boston and Houston have decent packages they can and probably will offer including youth and or picks , but other than that not many other teams are interested it seems, Memphis is probably showing interest to try to get divisional rival Houston to pull out , Houston can offer Jones and DMo , they won't but the other package they can offer without jones would be too late because KJ mcdaniels can't be traded till December, Boston can offer James young, Sullinger/olynyk , and turner for him and maybe even toss in a second round pick or two, now that doesn't help the celtics logjam so ainge might not be able to put in the follow up trade till later and I don't think Morris will enjoy maybe getting traded again. So potentially excluding Boston, is Jeff Green, Stokes, and a second round pick enough of a package to beat out these other guys?

Better question, is that the package Memphis goes with? I would assume green is a part of any deal we do for him

Morris has one good friend still on Phoenix , Archie Goodwin , perhaps if we did a Swap of Adams for Goodwin in the trade sending Green, Adams , stokes and a second for Morris and Goodwin , I think we not only have the edge, but we have the trade
