Nate Robinson , versatile point guard
Glen Davis, big body good rebounder
Mbah Moute, great defender stretch 4
Jordan Hamilton, decent bench wing
Justin Hamilton, good 3rd C option
Jeff Withey, good C option and shot blocker ranking #2 in blocked shots per 36 last two years behind serge ibaka.
But let's look at the two free agents that could help Memphis the most this season and I'm not huge on either.
1. Memphis native : Shawne Williams, he was a head case early in his career, since he has gotten better, he is another wing player, you plays stretch 4 and isn't need unless we trade someone(s) off the wing like Jeff Green, Vince Carter, etc , but he shoots the 3 ball at about 40% for his career, he is decent on defense , but mainly just that 3 point shooter with some length
2. Carlos Loozer... I mean Boozer. At vet minimum for a one year deal he wouldn't be bad to have , he can come off the bench in limited minutes and despite not being big on him, he can in fact still shoot the midrange ball well and rebound well , both of which the Grizzlies could use on the second unit, maybe sign him to an unguarenteed contract and cut him during training camp if he doesn't work out
Obviously I would rather a trade, but we need to consider these players we can get at the minimum as well
