Conley off-season

Post#1 » by JKiddy » Mon Apr 25, 2016 9:23 pm

I am not a Grizz fan. But, I respect the (bleep) out of them for pushing to make the playoffs short-handed and giving it their all. I have seen my team go through thick and thin as well. I was just curious what the hometown sentiments were for Conley. Will he likely stay? Has he said anything? I wish you the best and hope Gasol and Conley heal up fast.

Conley has said it's a wait & see situation. Basically he wants to see what the FO does in the off-season to improve the Grizzlies and he'll go from there.

I like Conley but he has injury concerns, his defense has slipped & you can see with how Chalmers ran the injured team that Conley doesn't have elite PG feel. I think Chalmers had three alley-oops to Vince this year. Can't even recall one Conley has had with Vince in two years. Chalmers constantly was able to probe & pressure defenses in the open court & half court. Conley is more methodical. He has a great floater and has a few pet p n r plays with Gasol and his 3pt shooting has been decent but as an overall floor general he is lacking.

I think he goes to a team that overpays him, but he definitely has love for the home team but I'm not sure if they are willing to max him out while they still have to figure out what to do with their roster.
