Now that Dave Jeorger is no longer the coach for the Grizzlies, who will be the next coach?
Lots of solid names out there.
Frank Vogal
Mark Jackson
David Blatt
Kevin McHale
Vinny Del Negro
If Vogal or Jackson or Blatt get a look at by the Grizz and be considered for the job, I think it will be a good choice.

Makes me wonder if Lionel will consider a return to the Grizzlies despite that the previously regime did not renew his contract and that that Chris Wallace would like him to comeback. Also lead to believe to be one of Mike Conley's demands as well.

Reports are that the long wait will finally be over this weekend. The hot name seems to be whom ever they speak to last, as daily we get info that the interviewed candidate had a strong interview. At this point since they could not land Vogel, whomever they hire from the great pool of assistant coaches will not excite the fan base or spur a run on season tickets.
LOW EXPECTATIONS = THE NEW NORMAL IN GRIZZ LAND

Low expectations like that going into the offseason is a dangerous combination for the franchise going forward. With Vogel out of range at this point, this should resonate a message with the Grizzlies in terms of where they are in their foundation.
