I'm a Suns fan who wanted to keep him in camp, but we didn't. Curious to see if he makes it here.

There a a small chance the Grizzlies would have cut Jordan Adams the worst player in the nba.

Seen lot of worse players in my years of watching the NBA. JA just is a victim of bad luck when it comes to injuries. It would not surprise me if he finds himself getting cut from the team by the end of preseason.

The case for not doing so would be the number of rookies and 1st year players on the roster. You have to transition at some point from the old heads we count on for minutes and develop those individuals who show some chops. The organization is loathe to repeat the mistake of letting H. Whiteside get away when they had him. I personally would make every effort to keep him but not necessary at the expense of Jordan Adams, but it just doesn't make sense to move forward with Vince Carter simply because he is a good dude. The Organization has assembled a great coaching staff that minimizes his value to the locker room and his contract was always meant to be a two year deal and not a three year deal. Trading him to a contender like Cleveland or to a truly young team like Minnesota, Orlando, or Philly would be the best for all involved. James Ennis and a part time Tony Allen is some cover at the SF until Parsons is given the green light, but Ennis and Troy Williams would be much better and give us athletic wings who can shoot the three. Lastly he has earned his spot so not keeping him due to an overflow of guaranteed contracts would be silly.

Whiteside was someone that the Grizzlies didn't even see coming. He did come to the NBA with issues of maturity and controlling his temper. Keeping in mind both the Kings and the Grizzlies didn't have a place for him on the roster due to crowding at the center position. It didn't work out. It just so happen that things fell in place once he got with the Heat. Now that Wade and Bosh(medical issues) are no longer with the Heat, he is likely expected to take the lead of a newly revamped Heat team and make the best of the hands they been dealt with.
I hate things didn't work out for Jordan Adams. I wish him the best as will sit out another year and look to hook up with a NBA team next season. As for the Grizzlies themselves, this will be a interesting season to see what Fizdale will bring to the table in terms of how his schemes will fit the players, how he will face adversity, how he will handle player development and the fans themselves.

I hope J. Adams was the last mistake of Hollinger.

I think Adams has the skills to make a NBA career out of something. Personally, I think it was the medical staff that failed to do a better job getting Adams better to resume his career. Now he has to sit out another year to heal up. I wish him well and hope he finds another team to benefit from.

And to why the Grizzlies had to get Hollinger to their staff for his advanced stats. So far, not too impressed. And Wallace may know his stuff, but I get the figurehead vibe from him while others seemed to make the decisions.

Martin to me has some mild athleticism, but is limited skills wise just hasn't overly impress me yet. I understand he's in his second year has had a injured filled first season and all. It's just that he's missing something that makes him standout in my opinion.
