Yes it is. Did the refs whistle the call or they missed it is the question.

Wow I did not follow preseason, when did Gasol start taking 3's?

He started taking three balls since Fizdale told him to work on it.

Well, after a rough start into the game against the up and coming T'Wolves, the Grizzlies managed to mount a comeback and make a game out of a tough situation. Games like this goes to show that tough experiences make the best teachers.

Was it just me, or did it seem like Mike Conley Jr may have a little trouble walking the fine line between being more aggressive because the team needs your scoring and the pressure of having the highest contract total in NBA history. At times it really seemed like he was pressing a bit, but if the choice is him taking the shot or Harrison then I can see his point.

Despite the win, I did not like the game today. First game of the season and we are already with 5 injuries. Seeing Harrison playing almost 40 minutes is awful. I hope I never have to do that again.
But lets focus on the good:
- 3points, 11-24 are pretty decent numbers. 0-4 from Harrison is the only bad one.
- I liked a lot BaldwinIV first game. Very focused and 6 assist to 1 TO. He allowed that Mike Conley played as a SG and that was very effective.
- Gasol looks fully healed and showing a lot of heart as always. I am glad he is back stronger as ever.
-Zbo coming from the bench. He will bully his way into the rim all the time against the other bench. Needless to say that J.Green played very well too!
- V.Carter did a good job defending Wiggins at the 4th Q. Better than Ennis.

There could be some contract influence with his play, but I think more so it has to do with his back court mates. Conley played all his minutes with Harrison/Baldin IV which opens him up to being more than a floor general and last second shot taker. Conley has been our best perimeter scorer for a while and I think the fact we didn't keep a true PG as a backup shows the direction Fizdale is going. This is definitely something worth following because we look like a different team already.
