Hey Grizzlies fans, I made a breakdown video analyzing the defense of Gasol who everyone knows is a very good defender. Let me know what you see from him, and thanks for watching.

Thanks for the video. I agree he doesnt need to put up +10 rebounds and 2 blocks to look dominant. Some "analysts" that just check the boxscores just see he is averaging 6rebs/game and they think he is a poor player. When you focus in boxing out 99% of the times, you may hardly get 10 boards a game, moreover considering that Tony Allen and Mike Conley and averging 9rebs combined, they both help a lot. On the offensive end, he is staying behind the three point line plenty times, so no chance to crash the off. reb.

Athough I have to admit I am slightly disapointed in Gasol one-on-one defense lately. Ive seen him doing better than the defense he played on Robin Lopez or Kanter/Adams. (just to mention a couple of examples)
