Outsider question--don't you guys have too many players now? (Interest in Harrison)

Looks to be that way, and that if you're going to re-sign Green (you are, right?), you're up to maybe 17 or 18 guaranteed salaries at that point.... or am I missing something?

Reason I ask, some of us Hawks fans are trying to figure out what the heck our new GM is doing with regard to the last roster slot, ostensibly who he's going to sign or trade for that can fill the 3rd PG role.

Among others, Harrison's name has come up in our discussions, now that Chalmers signed there.

So, two questions, one big picture, one small. First, how do you see the 15-man roster shaking out, not only in terms of names but in terms of how it gets done.... and then, second, assuming you agree that Harrison is someone likely not to be on that Opening Night 15-man, how likely is it that that occurs via trade and how likely is it that that ends up just being a straight roster cut, as the Hawks just did with the young big who came to us in the LAC/DEN trade (Diamond Stone)... ?

Interested in multiple fans thoughts on any or all.

I know the response is late. It was intentional as the training camp and preseason games are currently underway. As you should know, the Grizzlies have signed J.Green to a reasonable two year deal.

To your question about Harrison and his potential availability, it's possible. The PG and SG positions are full and someone will have to be cut/traded in order to make room. Rio in his first game back was playing like he had something to prove. His injury did force him to sit out the entire 2016-17 season so ha could be 100% to be back in full force this season. I expect him to stay with the team. Harrison and Baldwin are candidates to either be cut or traded from the team as the Grizzlies will have to cut down on the roster by the end of training camp.
