Our two superstars going for 8-26. Whats wrong with Mike lately? in this last 6 games on the road he has been idle. He only showed in a 4th Q that made us win, but up until that point, he didnt score at all.

Regarding Marc, I dont think we are using him properly. Despite the DPOY award, he is not playing D at all. Henson went 8-10 in the paint and Gasol did NOT contest the shots. When Antetokounmpo was abusing Parsons in the 3rd, he didnt help in any of those plays, or at least, you may say he was helping kind of late in every play. You wont ever see him charging the offensive board. Actually, you will rarely see him in the paint. If you need to take Gobert or Deandre out of the paint I would understand that, but if Henson is on you, why would you want to live 90% of the plays outside the three point line? 4TO I believe that came from him driving to the basket after a fake pump. Come on Marc....

Special mention to Mclemore, who played 12 minutes with 0 FG attemps, no assist nor rebounds. 3 turnovers and 3 fouls.

Special positive mention to Evans. Seeing him driving to the basket is awesome. Im starting to like the guy more and more. Hope he stays healthy but his style of play doesnt match with the word healthy. Driving to the basket, jumping, layups, bumping into big guys, falling to the floor that many times.....

This game exacerbated our new personnel problem which is actually an old personnel problem we have developed in the past few years. Individuals who should not be playing being dependent upon for rotation minutes. This is the card the coaching staff was dealt but it invites mismatches defensively and a stagnant offense. No matter how much the organization attempts to paint the M & M boys (Marc & Mike) as first tier players they simply do not have the offensive game for that. It should not be a shock how well Tyreke Evans has come in and supplanted the offensive production around him because he unlike the other two has a skill set for instant offense.

Thank You!

For the last few seasons, the organization has been trying to push the M&M mantra on the team and the fans to get behind on. All respect to both players, these guys make better complimentary players rather than true #1 options. It's just the nature of the NBA. Tyreke Evans when healthy shows that natural instinct to make instant offense like it's nothing. It's been something the Grizzlies needed for so long. He's doing his part and off the bench at that. Mike's injury is bother him more than he's letting on and it's effect his role with the team. Marc continues to go through his peaks and valleys on defense. He needs to step up. Chandler Parsons is just Chandler Parsons. I don't expect him to average double digits for the remainder of his career.
