I was suprised to hear the rumor, but if the Grizz are not going to go into a rebuilding mode, This deal makes alot of sense and makes them even younger. Denver would shed alot of salary over the summer with all of the expiring deals.

It certainly makes sense except that I don't know if Memphis wants to take on that salary. I would need to check but this puts them super close to the luxury tax next season and may put them over it if the Grizzlies fill out their roster. What about Green in for Chalmers and Ennis? I know he isn't expiring, but he is a positive contract and 8mil next year is better than 13+. Worst case scenario he could be traded which may be a good thing since you guys won't have any free cap anyway even if you got all expiring for Faried.
