Do you think this would never happen?

I knew it would come eventually. I like that we did him a solid and sent him to a contender even if it involves freezing his butt off.

Happy for Marc. Hoping Toronto wins it all.

I had never pictured myself rooting for the raptors. However, the K.Leonard and Marc moves... Two of my favourite players.

Being said that, I thought our FO would fail to trade him and we would get nothing in return, as he would probably walk out in June.

Shocked? kinf of. Sad? well, when it comes to watch grizz games it will be sad and def more boring. If i think about it long term, If ok with it, it had to happen.

I am really happy for Gasol. I love him and def wish him the best. Hope he carries his team to the ring and defeat all those superteams with a Grit and grind mentality. GnG will always be running through his veins.

The return was so-so, but happy for Marc as he is now in the EC and playing for a contender. He deserves all the best.

You guys got a solid return for him. I know he's a perennial superstar calibre player but he's on his last wind and JV is an absolute stud. Out of all the players the Raptors have traded away, JV makes the biggest impact. He won't replace what Gasol did but he's a better scorer and rebounder.

I like how happy Toronto and Memphis fans seem to be for each other with this trade. Gasol is better than JV, but that isn't a knock against JV and I love how aggressive he is. Wright as the backup PG we've been searching for is nice too. CJ Miles seems like a good locker room guy and maybe he can get back into the swing of things with a new team (looked like he was having a bit of a down year this year).

Memphis fans are stoked to watch Toronto and hope they are able to win it all since we want the best for Gasol and Toronto and Memphis aren't actually competing against each other right now. Toronto fans are glad to see JV and co get more playing time and a chance to be more featured. I'm still glad we did this deal over the Charlotte deal even though we don't have a shot at hitting on a good young player (our track record in the 17ish range is atrocious  )
