Outstanding game by Ja, (Despite those Turnovers) When he cuts that, what a player we have.

I dont like that Westbrook attitude. Flexing on rivals and being soo emotional after every bucket. He has been 3 games in this league, he should come down. He started in the first game and the got rejected several times after that.

Honorable mention to Clarke. Sometimes you see him lost with ball on hands, but it only can get better. I like him.

Why JV was on the bench the whole 4th and OT? Did he get hurt, I couldnt watch the 3rd Q.

Jonas missed preseason with a foot injury, he's just getting up to speed & is on a minutes restriction. Decent game by him though 16/11/4 in 20mins but he's normally more efficient.

Ja's performance is more impressive than most will give him credit for. He put up 30 shooting 1-2 from 3, with Nets playing zone D. Most of the good young players putting up those type of numbers are hitting 4-5 3's to do so. It was only game 3 of the season but the defensive pressure Ja is facing is playoff like where he's already being double & triple teamed.

Early in the game Jonas hit wide open 3's because Jordan wouldn't leave the paint. Though capable of hitting 3's, Jonas reputation is that of a post big. Grizz hit I think 15 of 30 in this one.

Solo Hill defense & decision making, made a difference. Brooks was better in this one but I'm still not enamored with his game. The euro shooter, refuses to shoot, pump fakes for a travel on sale & as for Allen, I'm not sure what he does well. Would've also preferred Delon to Tyus.

I feel for Jaren, Ja's defense could use some work & Jaren is taking a hit for it.

All in all, good showing.

Forgot to mention, Clarke went 0-3 from 3 but I loved that he took them, he was wide open on all 3 attempts & should be taking them. Pascal before his MIP season was given the green light to do the same & it paid off.

Pascal rookie year - 143% on 1 apg
Sophmore year he got the green light to shoot - 220% on 2 apg
MIP season - 367% on 2.7 apg
This season - 471% on 5.7 apg

Clarke also was on the injury report with a sore back. It may have had zero effect on his play, but it also may have made those shots a little harder. I look forward to seeing him shoot more as the season goes on. One problem though is he has different shooting forms for 3 and around the rim which is fine but he kept getting the ball in a mid-range area and didn't know what to do. I want him to take those shots when he is open (assuming he can make them at a decent clip).

Y’alls court and uniforms look really good.

Could explain why he was having trouble securing rebounds in that match.

Agree, his form is not bad though. So some muscle memory training & building of confidence to take them in game, could do wonders.
