Seeing that Heat just stomped the Rockets 129 - 100
I thought it would be interesting to point out the records of the teams Memphis have lost too ...
Heat 5-1
Lakers 5-1
Suns 4-2
Bulls being the lone loss to a team that hasn't started the year hot.
Even the win vs the Nets. They're a much better team than their 2-4 start.
Then consider the young Memphis team is starting a rookie PG, a 2nd year big that is having trouble staying on court, a rookie coach, a new system, they're shooting 28% from 3 & have their lone veteran big/big man depth on minutes restriction.
Jenkins may end up having his work cut out for him to make sure Grizz retain their top 6 pick when they start to put it together.
GS, 1-5, Klay Is out for the year, Curry out with a broken hand, has me wishing Grizz had this years GS pick.

Another loss on the 3pt line. Memphis held Houston to 37% from the field but shot a poultry 12% from 3 in a 7 point loss, 3 possession game.
Brooks has been solid defensively, did as good a job as any holding Harden in check. He just needs to cleanup his decision making with the ball.
Gaduric is heady & has good ball IQ but is lacking the confidence & athleticism.
Jonas is still off. He would have normally had a field day with that Houston front court.
Clarke & Ja have great chemistry, I think it's a mistake to have Clarke coming off the bench. I also don't think his body can handle playing the 5 for a full season. Would love to try a rotation of Jonas, 3J, Clarke, Brooks, Ja or 3J, Clarke, Bruno, Brooks, Ja.
Ja was great but needs to do a better job taking care of the ball. Less flash more efficiency.

Refs were quite bad this game but oh well. Nice to see Ja, Clarke, and Brooks with decent +/- stats in a 7pt loss. Jenkins has plenty of things to work on and improve such as getting JJJ the ball when he is on the court, but overall he seems to be doing okay for a 1st time head coach. It is nice to have a promising future.
