I'm looking forward to the court and jerseys tonight even if AD does destroy us again. Hopefully JJJ stays out of foul trouble enough to guard AD most of the time he is on the floor.

Brooks had a bit of an off game, but I really don't have much to complain about otherwise. Our young guys played well and we had multiple opportunities to win a game against a really good Lakers team. Wait a year or two for them to develop and we are really going to have something! This also keeps the tank rolling though I never want our team to purposely lose games even if it hurts our lottery chances.

3J came to play..., impacted both ends, holding Davis to 17-2.
As a matter of fact, Memphis front court held all Lakers bigs in check.
McGee 5/4
Howard 8/8
Kuzma 5/3
Davis 17/2 on 5-11 shooting
If Memphis did not bleed points off of careless, weak TO's they would have won this game handily. Lakers had to ride both James & Davis hard off a back to back to pull out the 1pt, possession win.
Nice to see the compete level was there from start to finish & that they didn't fold when LA made their run. Just need to protect the ball better.
Grizz fans should be ecstatic by this game, I know I am. Ja & Jaren just put it to what is currently the best team in the league while the team on a whole played sloppy, careless. They can play better, they will play better, they just have to do a better job of valuing possession.
Incredibly happy for 3J, this is who we all expected. He just outplayed the best big in the league on both ends, being the reason his team could have won handily against what is currently, the best team in the league. Dare I say it, franchise big.
Jenkins coached a good game outside of putting Marko on Lebron. He did a good job staying with him but he just isn't strong enough. Lebron struggles with mobile defenders that have strength like Bizz, Kawahi etc... Marko was just bouncing off of him.
Good game

Review the last play with Brooks at the point he tried to secure the rebound, having Kuzma sealed. Am I seeing things or did Kuzma not foul Brooks, which is what caused the ball to pop out?.
You can see the sideways push motion of Kuzma, which is why Brooks went sideways ...
Foul or not?.

Foul of course. Had it been DIllon doing it to Lebron he would have flopped all the way to his own basket.

Had the official who saw the play make the right call, it would have been 2 FT's, in a 1pt game.
