This loss was infuriating. Memphis after an excellent first quarter that posted 42pts which got them out to a 20pt lead, took their foot off the gas which allowed Kings to erase that deficit before the half & retake the lead. A couple of weak flashy TO's by Ja kick started that Kings 2nd Q comeback. I don't know if he's injured or not with his recent play but he didn't come to play in this one until the final 2mins with Memphis down.

Not one of Clarke's better games either.

I get that this team is young & inexperienced but they need to raise their ball IQ considerably. While they're playing unselfish, which is good, their decision making could use some cleaning up. Most of Ja's TO's are unforced. It starts with him.

That 2nd quarter was sloppy :banghead:

Hopefully Ja continues to settle in and decrease those turnovers throughout the season. He's bound to have games like this occasionally due to being a rookie, but you still hate to see.

Nothing can be more irritating than seeing your team turn the ball over at such a reckless rate. Sometimes, I think Ja can get in his own head to where he feels he has to make the best plays all the time rather than play to what to what the circumstances is giving him then and there. Sometimes, adjustments have to be made to overcome a previous failure in the play at hand. That's something Ja and the others have to learn from as they gain more experience in the league.

Well put. He did it more often earlier in the season than now I feel like so hopefully it is an issue that will fizzle out as the season goes on.
