Having been inspired by the thread regarding draft expansion, I want to rise the following question: if you were GM, who would you decide to protect on the expansion draft in 2020 - JV or Dieng?
No doubts that JV is a better player overall, but I doubt that he possesses more MARKET value. Dieng, due to his expiring contract and a definitive defensive-backup center role, can arguably bring more value back.
Thoughts, gentlemen?

I'd probably keep JV for our team but Dieng has the potential to carry more value if you used him in a salary dump for another team. The problem is that I'm not sure what team has a contract they'd really pay to dump.

I have similar doubts re who I would keep. My biggest concern is almost 0 interest in JV on the Trade & Transactions block.

I think the lack of interest on the T&T board is a little off base. Sure no one is giving up much for JV, but I think there would still be a bit of a market for him if it came down to it. JV's struggle with the PnR is a real issue though that will get him played off the court in the playoffs.
