It would suck to be Washington to have Wall remain healthy & return to Allstar status. He looked good against Coby in that opener. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think they gave up a pick as well.

Now imagine a scenario where the older Russ goes down, I don't want to talk that into reality but that is the position Washington put themselves in.

Here's to all players staying healthy.

Yep. They traded a pick along with Wall to get WB.

With WB with the Wizards, he brings a mixed bag of familiarity with his former coach Scott Brooks, experience, saavy, playoff battle tested, durability, volatility, age, and inconsistent shooting to the Wizards. A team who in-spite of the big move could still be on the outside looking in due to the moves the Hawks and Hornets made during the abbreviated off-season.

IDK SD father time has a way of creeping up on ya. Westbrook's game is heavily reliant on his athleticism & strength. Hopefully, this trade works out for both teams & both players.

If you're coming from the durability angle, what I mean is that he is more durable than what Wall has been most of his career. And yes, you just reminded me that I forgot to add out of prime to WB's mixed bag. To add more to your take is that those whose's game is based on high athleticism and high motor do come with an expiration date. I'm thinking this past season and into this season we will continue to see a decline in WB to what he brings to the table.
