Rough half for Brooks, 2-7 with 4 TO's. 4 pts on 11 possessions.

Winslow 0-4, 2pts -6..

Grizz shooting 30% but down only 4.

These last few games hopefully show how important offense is to defense..

Fatigue has to be playing a factor in how off the entire team is offensively.

Terrible first half, turned it on in a big way in the 3rd, and honestly we had a favorable whistle. Ja with only one bucket the first half.

First Q - Magic 20, Grizz 19
Second Q - Magoc 22, Grozz 20

Third Q - Magoc 15, Grizz 39

Fourth Q - Magic 17, Grizz 17

What happened in the 3rd Q Where Memphis had their offensive explosion, while holding Magic to only 15pts ?. Winslow 1-7 (-6) didn't play..Konchar -4 the only other player in the minus.

Grizz put up the same amount of pts 3rd Q as they did the first half.

If Magic were a better team, the outcome would have been like the last 2 games..

It's as plain as day that Winslow's ;ack of offense is offsetting what he brings to the table defensively. The defensive effect I've been referring to concerning Jonas. The offense affects the defense, reason why Grizz not only put up 38pts 3rd Q, it was also the only Q they held Magic to only 15pts defensively.

Philly taking Raptors to a last possession shot in 7 after Raptors dominated the poor shooting team regular season. Raptors were playing 4 on 5 offensively, where Kawhi had to single handily carry the offense... Gasol was shooting 18% in the post with a wing defender on him, which allowed Philly to switch & shut down everyone not named Kawhi. Only reason Philly made it a series while others say they would have never have won with Jonas defense.. They'd be wrong. Winslow is my example of that.

Even though Winslow only played 11m in those 3Q's it goes to show how it can disrupt offensive flow, rhythm & momentum.

Grizz looked like a top 10 defense 3rd Q where the offense was clicking.. Funny how that works.
