Memphis aren't playing well again but they are also getting ass **** by the officiating. Up 1 at the half against another depleted team.

Last night I watched the end of the Philly NO's match & with NO's down 2, 1 possession 14 secs left Philly ball, NO's was awarded the ball at the 10 sec mark for a supposed 8 sec violation for an opportunity to tie or win the game, lol... Didn't have to watch that game to know why it was a close match without Zion.

These guys lost GNG. That’s where you need good veterans to kick Ja’s and JJJ’s ascsees.

Clarke’s degradation is a mystery. What to blame? The reckless change of shooting mechanic? The injury recovery? It is so disappointing.

In contrast, Melton’s 3pt shooting mechanic is a piece of art. Love it!

JJJ is pathetic at this point time.

Besides the mechanics of Clarke's shot being changed I think his issues are the same as Anderson's.

Anderson struggled when Winslow returned from injury & again when 3J returned.. Defined roles, defined minutes, not being shuffled etc. IMO all playing a factor.. especially with a player who was already having issues trying to iron out his new mechanics.

Put yourself in Clarke's position, your shot needs tweaking & you might potentially lose playing time, with 3J at the 4 & Anderson making his case for your spot. He might compensate by doing too much..

I know the competition wasn't ideal but Ja having Jonas rolling & 3J popping looked potentially deadly. 3J was open, every time.

38pts between the 2 with 3J going 3-10 from 3 working his way back. When he gets back to shooting the 3 ball at his 40% clip that duo with Morant running point will be hard to contain.. teams won't be able to effectively crowd the paint anymore.

Anderson's 3pt shooting taking a hit is part reason for the teams recent struggles among their ability to value possession (17 TO;s)

Didn't help that the refs gave Raptors some extra possessions to keep it close. Jenkins will have to be on them & challenge their BS because make no mistake with Pelicans only a game & a half out, they want Zion, Curry, Derozn, Lilliard's names in the playoff mix.

I'm hoping we end up in a situation where we can rest guys for at least one of the upcoming games. Our guys are physically and mentally exhausted and it shows in the sloppy play.
