Jonas is eating in the pick and roll game atm. Let's keep this energy up. A double double by the end of the 1st quarter? Wow.

How the **** do you let Spurs go on a 17-0 run with a 21pt lead Jenkins...

Love the fire Kyle always plays with. This matchup is personal for him too.

JV and Brooks were insane tonight. Also we can't let teams so easily come back from a friggin 21pt deficit.

Watching DeRozan's performance this game. imagine Spurs fans saying the reason they lost was because of Jonas p''n'r' defense & you have the narrative why Raptors kept losing to the Cavs. lol.
Jonas was +26 in a 4pt win with 23/23/3 on 10 of 16 shooting but he was the problem for the Raptors, not Derozan poor efficiency & perimeter D.
As mentioned a couple times.. Jonas was +22 in the 8 starts he had with Raptors/Kawhi.

We were living dangerously in this game. We really will need to step up against Curry if we hope to stand a chance. The Warriors should have won that game tonight.

The thing about this game I disliked the most was Dieng going off a bit. Why couldn't he crack our rotation?

To be fair, Dieng played well in Memphis almost every time. They just wanted to develop X.

I was reading Memphis fans comments, they clearly don't know what to look for with the officiating if they think Memphis didn't get the whistle in this game. The calls Spurs got were to keep the game close/interesting..
To sum up their intent in one sentence... If Brooks was playing against Curry instead of Derozan, he would have fouled out of this game first half. He/Memphis got the Green/GS treatment where he/they were allowed to play more physical defense on Derozan/Spurs (hence holding them to something like 33% shooting), where officials could have easily tightened that whistle on him/Memphis, by choice...
If they let Brooks/Memphis play a more physical against the Warrriors, I like Memphis chances.. question is, will they?, Curry/GS, is pure ratings for their TV contracts.
All I want out of that final match is Memphis not being outworked & a fair whistle.

I don't know if it was a teaching moment or a coaching blunder but giving the ball to Ja in a one possession game late to be fouled after he just bricked his last 2 ?
I really hope it was a teaching/development moment because sure enough, Morant split the 2, missing the first, which would have given Spurs a good opportunity to tie the game.
Jenkins helping to build his confidence in a teaching moment ? I'd like to think so
