I was just coming to post this..

If Memphis use 17 & take on salary to get up to 10 (Assume the reason they worked out Moody/Grimes). That would be nice.

Here's a suggestion..

Knowing that Cavs like players in the 5-8 range & are trading Sexton who GS like..

NO's trade - (Bledsoe, #10) for (TE/Jones, #17)

Cavs trade - (Sexton, #3) for (3J, #7, Utah 22)

GS trade - (Filler, #7) for (Sexton, #10)

Memphis trade - (3J, TE/Jones, #17, Utah 22) for (Bledsoe, #3)

“With a big group of combo/scoring guards bunched together in the early 20s through early 30s, NBA executives say the Lakers have explored the option of moving down a few slots from the No. 22 pick while acquiring one or more second round picks.

https://clutchpoints.com/2021-nba-draft-rumors-lakers-looking-to-trade-down-from-no-22/

In the NO's trade, depending on how much salary Memphis eat, try & net a couple 2nd round picks out of that deal. NO's has 4 2nd round picks (34, 40. 43. 53)... get their #34 & 43 second round picks included if possible. If not get one & combine it with Memphis/Portland 51 for Lakers 22.

NO's trade - (Bledsoe, #10, #34, #43) for (Allen, #17)

Lakers trade - (#22) for (#34, #43) if Memphis can get 2 2nd out of NO's if not #51 from Memphis

Memphis trade - (Allen, TE, #17). #51 ? for (Bledsoe, #10. #22)

#10 - (Moody. Jalen Johnson, Giddy)

#22 - (Christopher)

According to Jason Dumas of Bleacher Report, Beal has a specific team in mind he would like to join if he does go through with requesting a trade, and the Wizards are willing to grant his wishes.

Per Dumas, Beal would welcome a trade to the Boston Celtics as he would play alongside the young All-Star Jayson Tatum.

We have too many good bigs: Kyle, Clarke, JJJ, JV, Tillman. I wonder guys who in your view will be gone first?

For me Jonas brings a different dimension to the Memphis front court where Tillman, Clarke & 3J are closer in skillsets.

I still think 3J has the most upside of any player on roster but he's still potential & a question mark heading into his first extension so if Memphis liked someone top 3/4, I'd look to reset his rookie scale because essentially you're still trading potential for potential.

Jonas like I said brings a different dimension to the table for the front court & when you consider he has more court value than trade value. I'm not selling low on any asset.

Love Tillman & he'd be my preference but it'd be one of Tillman or Clarke that will end up sweetening a deal.

Anserson is another tough call being an expiring like Jonas but unlike Jonas he has more trade value. I'd trade him, then retarget him in free agency next year, if he's missed.

Honestly I don't see that being a big problem. Kyle is able to play SF (though we know PF is where he is better) and we need wings so not a big deal plus is depth in case of an injury to the other bigs. Clarke and Tillman back up JJJ and JV respectively. I'm fine moving one or two if the right deal presents itself, but I don't see any real pressure.

Anderson is who I see potentially being moved first just because there is a chance our FO moves him this offseason if the right deal presents itself. JV is in a similar boat but Anderson has a bigger market. Both guys would have to be replaced though as each guy is unique in what he brings to the team. One of Clarke or Tillman could also be put into a trade as a youngish prospect but I'm not sure if a trade like that materializes this offseason or not. JJJ I expect to be on the roster for a while.

I don`t believe Clarke can effectively play 3 aside from emergency situations.

And I really doubt we shouldn`t extend Kyle. He is going to be even better as PF once he gains more strength. I am afraid that we can miss his prime, like Denver in the case of Grant.

In relation to Lakers possibly trading their 22nd pick for 2 2nds..

Memphis have worked out Cam Thomas who NBA Draft Net has going 23.

If Allen who is soon to be extended is apart of the NO's trade, Memphis looking at Cam at 22 who's compared to Reddick. Potentially getting a 2nd or 2 out of that NO's deal, Cam at 22, would theoretically, cheaply replace Allen.

I don't normally target upside late in the draft but I'd have Christopher at 22, where NBA Draft Net has him going 26

If this deal with NO's goes through no particular order.

That #22 would be awesome

I’ve read that Cam Thomas has a tunnel vision. I don’t want another Mayo/Gay.

My gut says we aren't done trading either. I think we try to move up from 10 potentially (per KOC we are trying), but I really expect us to use a 2nd or two and maybe some cash to move up from 40 to get someone the FO has fallen in love with. We have been working out quite a few people in that range.

What Grayson and Tyus might bring us? Early 2nds?

With Bledsoe supposedly being rerouted I don't think we move Tyus unless we get a PG type in the draft. Even then I could see us keeping him.

If we did move both guys I would think that we get an early 2nd/very late 1st. For instance maybe PHX would do it using Saric as the salary filler and 29. He should miss a lot of time with his injury this year so two proven guys who can help immediately in order to maximize the last couple Paul years could be tempting. They probably need a backup forward but maybe Jalen Smith steps up or they use Smith to find a backup. Tyus also would be insurance in case Paul left. Memphis would be taking on the extra year of salary from PHX but creates a little extra space to extend Anderson with a bump in his salary this year. Saric also is a decent player so maybe he looks okay that last year of his deal?

If Bledsoe is re-routed, then Tyus should stay, you are right.

Then, Grayson should be placed on the trade block alone. His value probably is about a pick in the range of 30-40. If we combine him with #40, we might even jump into the 1st round and use this late 1st pick to trade up from #10.

Honestly, I don`t see any significant value in Saric, neither on the market nor on the court. He played a backup 5 providing no rim protection but a serious threat from beyond the arc.

His role in the above deal is simply as filler. Now if we think we will actually have cap space next offseason then maybe we dont do it, but if we are operating over the cap then he'd be a nice expiring filler contract in future deals.

There wasn't a single leak about JV being potentially included in the deal. The 10/17 swap in order to dump Bledsoe likely leaked from the NOP side. I seriously doubt anyone has any sort of real insider info on our FO. Media members are just trying to make educated guesses which may be coming from player agents who are trying to promote their own guys.

[Fischer] Cleveland continues to receive plenty of trade interest at No. 3, where teams such as Toronto, Orlando, OKC, GSW, and now Memphis (from No. 10) still see a chance to land Evan Mobley.

GS trade - (Wiggins, #7, #14) for (Nance, Cedi, Melton, Sexton, GS 24)

Cavs trade - (Love, Nance, Cedi, Sexton, #3) for (Adams, Anderson, Bledsoe, Jones, #7, #10, #14, Lakers 22, Utah 22)

Memphis trade - (Anderson, Melton, Bledsoe, #10, Lakers 22, Utah 22) for (Love, Wiggins, #3)

Adams for Love Cavs shed 14m per on Love while moving a player that doesn't want to be there.
Bledsoe's 4m buyout, Anderson, Jones = 34m expiring value.

= 45m shed for Cavs in 22 where they seem to have free agency targeted.

#10 = Sexton
#14 > Nance
45m shed, #7, difference in #14, Utah 22, Lakers 22 = #3

Memphis utilize their win now expiring value to take on enough bad salary to entice Cavs who seem to have their eyes set on the 22 free agency along with netting 2 FRP picks from Memphis in that draft, which would give them leverage. They shed 45m, save a total of 77m & avoid Sexton's extension.

IMO an absolute overpay but the price paid to put a 3rd star be it Mobley or Suggs next to Ja & Jaren.

All in.
