We have basketball again starting tomorrow! Grizzlies themselves play on Tuesday!

What is everyone looking forward to seeing? My top three things are Ja's shot, Clarke's shot, and just how Ziaire plays in general.

Is playoff Brooks a thing that can carry over?

That's a good one. I feel like his offense probably doesn't carry aside from getting hot for stretches. His defensive though I think stays at a high level and my hot take is that he makes an All-defense team this year. The new rule change will be big for him actually being able to stay on the court all game and let him remain his aggressive self.

That was a fun 3/4th of a game ha. Ja looked good. JJJ was solid defensively but still needs to find his rhythm on offense. Another game or two to knock of rust and whatnot should help. I thought Ziaire looked good too. That 3pt shot he hit after stepping out of bounds was smooooth.

Clarke not getting minutes has to be concerning though right?

Boy Adams looks good against teams without a true center!

But most of our guys are look like they aren't carry much rust into the preseason which is nice. Ja is locked in. JJJ shot it better that second game. Bane and Melton look great. Clarke still feels like the odd man out. Adams will fill the majority of the JV role even though he won't be the instant offense who can carry us when needed that JV was. Ziaire looks like he is improving and may be in line for backup SF minutes.

How has Merrill been? He’s known mostly for his shooting ability but he’s also a really good passer and has a high offensive iq.

He has been hurt. Got his first action tonight. Not sure if he makes the roster due to contracts but I think he is better than Culver.

Yeah I am still wondering if he will be the final cut or not. Dunn, Culver, and Merrill seem to be competing for two spots.

Is Culver as bad as the numbers suggest?

I felt like he is a little better than the numbers say, but still isn't looking very good overall (his numbers are bad bad ha). It is hard to really judge though from limited preseason minutes.

Hard to tell since the Grizz have had him running point guard. He is definitely not a point guard or an initiator. Should concentrate on being a 3&D guy but not sure his shot is good enough.
