The case for Tyreke Evans

I am a fan and think he could bring some more pop off the bench. Evans can certainly create his own shot at an NBA level and the sooner we get him on the roster and in game shape, the easier it will be for him to bolster our bench unit. Jones has been great, but Evans is likely better than Melton.

I don't mind cutting Culver and signing Evans if the FO feels Evans can fit with the team and is okay as the 3rd string PG. As for him over Melton, I'd rather play Melton. Melton hopefully continues to improve (only 23) and better solidifies himself as a part of the future or if nothing else hopefully gets better to increase his trade value.

I wish Reke the best, but I don't want him anywhere near this team.

Influence wise, sure. But the family culture is already established. If anything, I would think he would be happy to get another chance. If his attitude stinks, you cut him and add one of the vets who has been cut.

We should have more spots available at the developmental level. Tillie, Terry, etc.
