That's a big blow to our playoff chances. We really needed Adams for rebounding an large centers. I also hate we lose Kennedy Chandler. He looked like he could turn into Tyus insurance. Happy for Kenny getting moved up. Him getting quality playing time in the G league seems to have helped.

Not sure how I feel about this. Love that we locked in Lofton, but really hate carry those dead cap hits on Kennedy the next two years. Maybe we had a inkling that Lofton was going to get some bigger offers so we just locked him in now instead of maybe having to match something that we rather not.

We are really in a roster crunch situation and likely are going to have to move some bodies with the draft picks and maybe MLE signings next year.

It's a bittersweet call on this one. Good for Lofton to get the promotion to the main roster. Adams is still lost for the playoffs. A big issue for the Grizzlies front line. Then KC gets waived due to the crunch and circumstances of the roster situation. I wish KC the best as he will have to move on to his next team.I hope Lofton makes the best of his opportunities as he moves up to the roster.

So apparently the MRI came back and wasn't conclusive that he could play. So that is why the team hasn't officially shut him down yet. They are hoping to get another MRI in a few weeks to see if it is clean then. If we make a deep run there is a chance we could get Stevo back it sounds like. Don't know how good that chance is if the MRI still is bad right now, but a chance.

What did you all think of Lofton?! 42 pts!! I missed the game, but the guy can play. I don't care if he isn't the sexiest archetype. I continue to believe that he is the best rookie in this draft class.

Chandler was a complete disappointment, showed no development, no passion, motor, or heart What a looser with the face of an ignorant teenager-gamer. His long-term contract was a mistake. It happens. Let’s absorb some minor bad luck.

My take on Adams’ PO unavailability is two-fold. On the positive side, Aldama, Lofton, JJJ, Tillman will get an opportunity and space to step up from which we would certainly benefit long-term-wise.
