Tuomas is extremely fast rising coaching "prospect". He was rumored to be joining Wizards' coaching staff and as a Finn I think this was such a better spot for him. He was a solid role player for finnish national team back in the day, but since retiring has gone with a modern aproach to his coaching philosophy.
Here's a 1h 45 min long finnish "coaches corner" presentation from him 3 years back (for a finnish sports academy). Been a while since I watched, will watch again and drop some cliffnotes later. It's mostly about his aproach to coaching eg. maximazing inferior player talent level to succeed against more talented teams.
But a great pickup for Grizzlies and a good fit for Tuomas also, will be watching summer league.
