Congratulations to both Jay Huff and Scottie Pippen Jr for officially making it to the NBA with their first contracts. Some nice cheap depth for us this season as we already battle injuries.

Memphis matching Miami when it comes to wisely select their 2nd Rounders, Undrafted, FIBAs and Two-Way Contract guys.

Yeah our late round picks are making up for our early round missteps in the recent drafts.

Scottie has been killing it the past couple games. Always nice to have a good backup to keep the ship afloat when Ja is out.

Finding guys like Pippen and Huff (and Vince and GG and Wells) makes up for the Ziaires and Laravias

For what it is worth, LaRavia has been playing well so far this year.

He's playing the best ball of his young career so far. With that said, I'll be shocked if he's on an NBA roster next year.

I will not. He'll be.
It's not even impossible that roster to be Memphis.
They just need to agree about the money.

The Grizz declined the 4th year option on his rookie deal....

With the exception of ring-chasing vets on their last leg, there are not many contracts in the NBA cheaper than a rookie contract

No chasing-ring vets here.
A bunch of cheaper contracts than current Jake's one (let alone the amount for a 4th year) here in MEM roster.

Kinda its thing.

Do you mean the other guys on rookie contracts that were drafted in the second round or undrafted?

That's a bit intellectually dishonest, no? Jake will (prematurely) be a first round pick on a second contract if he's lucky enough to get a second contract in the league. To point out other rookie contracts is comparing apples to oranges.

I'm comparing players delivering at NBA courts.

Never gave a damn where they came from, how many years have been playing, how many wifes they marry or which is their favorite Anime show.

Most of the time don't even know unless I Google it.
But I rarely care enough to do it.
