I'm happy I was wrong.
They got a scary first quarter but everything went smoother from there on.
Best Smartacus game with MEM.
Pippin, LaRavia and Brandon played great.
Jaren J. Junior, Aldama and Wells discreet lowkey helpful game, Kennard even more lowkey and Huff hustling three Qs to sum numbers at the 4th.
Bane's production matches The Best Scoreless Role Player Ever.
Not what you could expect out of his salary but I hope his 3p (and 2p) will return soon.
And even if not... well, I could even (provisionally) buy it.
Other sorta-Max contract players became useless when they don't nail shots.
Not Bane.
He becames expensive but never useless.

It's clear that we've got some great depth on this team that can fill in when our main guys are out or not having a good game.
Speaking of which: when do we start to get concerned about Bane? 12 games played so far, and his shot has been ... off, to put it mildly.

I think a lot of his recent bad play is likely the oblique injury lingering. He just hasn't quite looked right since coming back from the injury. I thought he looked a little rusty but better overall to start the season.
