Still I'm reasonabely optimistic.

My main goal for this game is not that much a necessary W but to ensure Mavs players remember this night for the rest of season:

Bad outcome.

Positive: We proved we're yet in the possition to perform tied games against any opponent regardless his level.



Negative: We couldn't grab firmly enough a great chance to get an impactful victory.

We gave that one away

We need some help with defence presence in the paint. We had to double on Lively. Starting center is our weakness. Edey is too young and not dynamic enough against elite athletes like Davis or Lively.

This loss is on us, and I haven't seen any player or fan dispute the fouls called against us, but the fact that the refs didn't seem to call it the same both ways was frustrating. Especially at the end when we were having so much trouble getting the offense going. Our team collapsed at the end of this game but may have been able to find a way to survive it with the calls going a bit different.
