I think our FO is trying to trade it, but in case we keep the pick, the following is my short-list in the preference order to instigate the discussion:

Bryant
Coward
Clifford
Demin
Thiero
Sorber

Have not been paying a lot of attention to this year’s draft. But so far I like Coward and Clifford the most right now.

I've seen Memphis fans show a lot of love for Coward, Clifford, and Collin Murray-Boyles on X

6’6.5 barefoot. My concern is that his physicality advantage against white college dudes might not work against NBA bigs, without which I don’t how can he overcome his lack of size. He is likely Tillman than Draymond. I would select him in late 1st/early 2nd.

I would really love Coward. He is my top choice for #16. We need a lengthy 3 & D wing to take us to the next level, and he brings exactly what we are looking for. I also love Jamir Watkins and Ben Saraf in this draft. They are big time steals for where draft analysts have them pegged. Late I like Koby Brea, Kobe Sanders, Jaxson Robinson, Grant Nelson, Dink Pate, RJ Luis, and Tamar Bates.

I have settled in on Coward at 16 as he would fit a need for the Grizzlies. Potential to be a scorer as well as 3&D prospect.

I have never seen such an alignment across the entire fan base. Absolute consensus. And Zach K. made it happen. Just a fairytale to me.

Big win for the franchise. Hope we trade back in the 2nd to keep things interesting. The depth of this draft isn't that great, but there is talent that could slip.

Koby Brea or Cam Jones would be nice in the 2nd.

I am a big fan of Thiero, who can give us a big wing defender from the bench.

It was expensive to move up but I think the right move in order to get our guy. You can always buy 2nds with cash and that Orlando pick is likely to be very late. I can't wait for summer league and hate that Edey can't play.

Let's pay cash to get Watkins at this point. Such a steal.

As for second rounds for tonight, I have Koby Sanders on my radar. the guy has length, can play between 1-3 positions decent catch and shoot profile, gets downhill, solid playmaker. Needs to improve on his perimeter shooting. As for the other pick, maybe Amari Williams or another international player draft and stash.

Jevon Small had been a son of Ja and SPJ, should they have wanted and been able to have a child.

He possesses SPJ’s measurements, while making #3-4 in standing vertical leap at the draft combine right in front of…. Cedric.
