Verno Interviews Wallace

Post#1 » by SD2042 » Wed Jan 2, 2008 11:08 pm

Chris Vernon will talk to Chris Wallace about the Grizzlies struggles to this point. Verno will look to applied some pressure. Personally with Wallace's meticilous and very patient side. Good luck.

One of the questions Verno asks is does CW feels pressured to do a trade. CW answers; can't just make a deal for the sake of making a deal. Basically, He's just waiting for the right deal to come along. Also he isn't going to comment on the rumors of ATL and Charlotte being involve in any Grizz deals.

Most of the interview he made more reference to past deals like the KG deal to Boston for instance. Basically when a team makes a deal. Make sure both sides offer what they view are neccessary pieces to help both teams gain from the deal. Overall, the interview was the usual cryptic, stay to the surface type of interview.

Forgot to mention: Expiring contracts, to an excepction of mediocre players are not his main focus. Depending on a deal he wants to make.
