Mike Miller a Phoenix Suns??

Post#1 » by ray ray » Fri Jan 4, 2008 12:19 am

There is a rumor out here in Phoenix bouncing around the radio.

Here's the link.
http://www.realgm.com/boards/viewtopic.php?topic=746376

I'm not saying its true but these radio persoalities usually don't talk trade rumors and that's why I think that it may be true. Personally, I would like to get Miller and Warrick here somehow in a Suns uniform.

Have you guys heard anything comcerning this rumor?? and what's you initial though if this is true??

The picks are nice but thats about it. Banks is horrible. Jaric isnt much better. Theres gotta be a better trade than this. What about a miami trade? jk

I understand your concern but Marcus Banks is a good baller. The reason why he hasen't florish here in Phoenix is becouse our coach is as stuborn as a mule. Banks has improve his jump shoot and is a very good defender but Mike D'Antoni wants him to play like Steve Nash but there is nobody as good as Nash in the NBA let alone in the Suns orginazation.

You basically improve becouse Banks is much better than Lowrey and Marco Jaric is a Mike Miller type of player but less of a streaky shooter than Mike Miller. You basically get 3 first rounders ( Alando Tucker was the 29th pick of 2007 draft) Atlanta's pick which is going to be around 12-15 pick and Minessota pick for Mike Miller,Kyle Lowrey and 3 1st round pick!!!

Thats a lot of bang for your buck. Then maybe you can trade Pau Gasol for a lot of the Bulls player ( Lou Deng, Tyrus Thomas and Andre Nicioni and their fisrt pick.)

Is Banks better than Lowry? Banks has some talent, at least from what I saw when he played on the Wolves, but Lowry looks much more intriguing.

What do you Memphis guys think of Lowry? If you didn't have a future stud in Conley would you be happy with Lowry? Does he look like a future starter or more of a change of pace bench player?

Banks is NOT better than Lowry. I think he is a better slasher and a better defender, but Lowry is a more classical point guard whereas Banks is a combo.

I think MEM could get a lot more for MMiller, but I'd LOVE him here for the Suns. He played some point last year if I recall, had a triple double or two?

That deal is awful for the Grizz - especially with ATL floating around .500. I'd trade Miller to the city of Memphis for the trash on my curb before I'd touch this if I were Wallace.

I don't believe it. If you look at the trade you can see who is getting what they want and who is just accepting what is given. The Memphis GM obviously did not have a say in the negotiations or involvement what so ever. While it would be nice get the additional #1 and Marko Jaric, there is no way we would take on Marcus Banks instead of Raja Bell when Phoenix would have him at 3rd string behind Miller and McCants. The deal also supposes that Kyle Lowry would be the starting point guard in Minnesota which is beyond laughable. This was simply a rumor and nothing more.

jaric and banks would join cardinal at the "millions, years under contract and nothing to do in memphis" club.

Do you guys think Memphis values Udonis Haslem enough that they would consider having him as the main piece in a Mike Miller trade?

Would Memphis do Miller and Swift for Haslem, Blount, and a future 1st?

If Diaw returns to his 05/06 form, would the Grizz consider trade Miller for Diaw straightup?

Would anybody think that Ivaroni is capable of getting that out of Diaw?

Regardless of Diaw returning to form, his contract stinks. No thanks.

Diaw is an example of why the NBA needs non-guaranteed contracts.

Along with Cardinal, and the half of the New York Knicks.

Return to Memphis Grizzlies
