The main reason why Richardson was waived today is b/c of the NBA Waiver Wire deadline today. The teams that signed players to non-guaranteed contracts had the option to either waived them today or keep them on the roster. In other words, if a non-guaranteed contract goes past today's deadline. Their contracts become a lock for the remainder of the season.
So if they sign another FreeAgent is his contract is guaranteed the rest of the year?

Maybe this is a move to help move Damon to a new team. If not, I'm not sure what the h#$l is going on.

On the free agent thing. I think that 10 day contracts would be enforce at this point I believe.

Even if it is only a ten day contract to go from the Grizz to the Spurs has to feel pretty damn good.

Richardson will probably be on the team until Barry comes back from his injury.
