Tough loss to accept. Grizz didn't come through the clutch when it was needed the most.

Grizzlies outscored in the paint 54 - 36 by a very talent-light Kings squad. Absolutely unacceptable and embarassing, but not a surprise with Stromile Swift in the doghouse.

If the Kings had shot better from outside it would have been a blowout. The Griz didn't really deserve to be that close.

I see that MI played a short rotation tonight. Why didn't he played Stro tonight?

MI lost the game. His coaching down the stretch was horrible. You don't draw up a play for one of your players on the baseline and expect to get results.

I can't believe they lost this game. I turned the set off in the 4th quarter with an eight point lead with around six minutes left in the game.

Is Ivaroni overwhelmed?

How can Wallace not feel compelled to do something?

I was hoping Heisley appearance in town this week would facilitate some sort of action, since he saw first hand how bloody awful his team looks.

How can you blame Marc? He didn't lose this game, the play that got Rudy with the ball in the corner was a great play, if you watch the replays he had an open lane to the basket, but he just lost the ball but the lane was there. The only thing I thought he should've done differently was go zone more.

It was a dumb play because rudy could have easily stepped out of bounds or run out of room to dribble which he did.

What MI should've done differently was get the worse defensive unit collectively off the floor and balance it out with some defensive help.

Conley, JCN, Miller, Rudy, Gasol= All time worse defensive unit.

2 funniest moments of the game...

1.) brad miller driving the lane for a dunk...
2.) garcia boxing out Pau so hard, Pau flew into the stands...

Nah that's not the worst, the worst would be replacing Conley with Damon

in fact, the worst defensive unit is:

lowry - miller - gay - swift - gasol

outscored by more than one point per minute.

133 points allowed per 48 minutes.

And the 5 man unit with the best +/- on the list is:
Stoudamire - Miller - Gay - Swift - Gasol

If your point is that Lowry causes the offense to bog down and therefore a decrease in offensive production, I agree with you. The difference in the +/- is related more to poor offense than poor defense, in my opinion.

The second set of statistics on the page you provided will bear me witness:

Offensive FG% for the lineup you mentioned: .384
Offensive FG% for the lineup I mentioned: .599

Lowry is listed on several lineup combos with poor offensive FG%
