So I see Bobby Jones is coming on a 10-day with hopes of a longer deal, after being let go by the Nuggets. Anyone know whether he will be playing tonight?

I hope Stro will play in this game since he always does well against GS.

GO GRIZZ!

Hopefully there will be a stroshow appearance tonight. The question is will the Grizzlies get over the brain fart they had last night and finally get focus enough to at least win a game on the road?

holy crap, have a heartbreaking loss then have to play a fiery golden state team, this is really getting out of hand. But you're never out of a game when playing the warriors.

Well, it's halftime, no Stromile, and little to no defense in the paint for Memphis...

In the last game against Golden State, Stro had Baron Davis guarding him on the post and did nothing. So I would say the alternate would be:
Stro+Darko=a dubious NBA record.

With Davis on him, was Stromile getting the ball?

Stromile got 9 shots in the game and made 6 of them.... not good enough?

OMG! wow, but if you look to the right of that, you'll see a -16. What's that mean? It means the team did the worst when he was on the court. Pau has 36 points through 3 quarters. I'll take that instead.

That's right... the guys who were actually taking the shots were not making... and there were too many turnovers.

It wasn't Stromile's greatest defensive game... he got scored on himself in the paint a couple times.

Though the team did the worst with him on the court in that particular game, it wasn't because he played poorly.

So... how many times did Stromile get the ball against Davis in the post when the Griz were struggling to score with him on the court?

Really terrible outing for the Grizzlies. The Warriors have been un fuego for the majority of the game. Right now, the Grizz are down 13pts in thr mid fourth quarter.

Warriors-101
Grizzlies-89

Also Bobby Jones has made an appearance.

Well, at least Grizzled must be happy that Jones has gotten in before Jacobsen.

Stoudamire, Jacobsen, and Swift are all suited up but haven't seen action... at least I didn't see it. Yahoo's boxscore says Jacobsen has played 37 seconds.

No matter what happened last time against GS, Stro should've made at least an appearance in tonight's game because everyone knows it's at times like this that you'll see the best out of Stro offensively.

As for his defense well I don't see anyone playing defense for the Grizz right now so what the heck.

If you peek at his game log, you'll see he had a terrible +/- in his last few games. He was playing a bit soft defensively and he wasn't finishing on offense for a couple games....

Miller and Gasol have been soft defensively all season though, but no penalty

Whatever it is with the Stro deal. It makes no sense. :nonono:
