Darko had some kind of knee injury and didn't return to the game. Also LBJ put up 51pts. I know LBJ would get his, but who really guarded him in the game?

^^^ Mike Miller :-?

Anywho, that was a fun game to watch... You guys play no defense, and neither did we tonight, which is odd, especially down the stretch...

I just wish we could have gotten Juan Carlos from Washington when we had the chance..

I thought we should've played Bobby Jones a lil bit more on him but he's just such a big liability on the offensive end. but hey Mike Miller's D is sadly still loads better than Rudy's :noway:

I think that Larry Brown was crazy to put this guy on the bench.
But now, I know why he did that.

His basket is like his mouth. AWFUL

SD2042 wrote:Ah God! Why did you bring him up? :nonono: I hated the fact that Jerry West picked him to be the Grizzlies solution at SF of all positions. West that year passed on Caron Butler just to draft Gooden. :nonono:

So what did Gooden do now? Become erratic? Thinks he's a great jump shooter? Whatever it is. The Cavs are stuck with him until they trade him off.

It always irritated me that Stromile didn't get a chance at SF after Gooden failed at the position.

I have a game on DVD vs the Lakers from Stromile's rookie season where he started at SF... Early in the game hall of fame broadcaster Chick Hearn labelled him a "promising rookie" and was really impressed with his play, but he was limited in that game by foul trouble.

One of those calls came early in the game when he blocked a Kobe Bryant layup.... it was a bad call lol

Stro started at SF once? Geez. :o: I really don't see how in spite of his athleticism. If Stro was given the chance to play SF when the Gooden experiment failed miserability, he probably would been plagued with fouls trying to defend them.
