Maybe Pau will showcase his talent with a win for the Grizz for a possible trade to the Bulls.
Happy MLK Day everyone and may we continue to grow stronger together as a nation.

Mike Miller-G/F- Grizzlies Jan. 20 - 12:00 am et
Grizzlies' swingman Mike Miller was a surprise scratch from Saturday's game, because he was suffering from back spasms. Miller is vital to the Grizzlies' chances of success, so hopefully he's not out for long. Bobby Jones got another start on Saturday, but only has borderline value and will see precious few minutes once Miller is healthy.
That's the latest news I got about Miller. I'll post in here if I hear about his chances to play in this game. No need for a thread just to know if he's going to play.

Could this be Pau's last game in Beale St Blue? I think not, but it could be an interesting twist...

Haha. The Bulls and Grizzlies complete a Pau trade 30 minutes before the tip off... Pau and Tyrus Thomas trade jerseys at half court.
In all seriousness, Cliff Levingston wonders if this game will have any ramifications in a possible Pau trade. Probably not, but what the hay.
Memphis wins by 24: 127 to 103.

Duhon is officially out. Deng is day-to-day. Tyrus is in the doghouse.

I heard that the interim coach has Thomas playing at SF. Was that true b4 he was thrown to the doghouse?
Also Mike Fratello will be calling the game for TNT later today.

Mike Miller is questionable for the Grizzlies' game on Monday, after he missed Saturday's game with back spasms.

About 2 weeks ago Boylan said Tyrus wasn't playing in the post enough. Since then he's logged close to the majority of his minutes at SF. Shockingly enough, Tyrus looks lost at the position.
Boylan is not such a smartie.

With the skill set Thomas has. He really didn't fit in the SF position in the first place. Personally, I think that if TT put on some muscle and weight preferally around 235-240. He'll be able to defend better and if neccessary should be able to use his athleticism better that way.
On the game itself. Right now the Grizzlies have been playing a bit energetic in the first quarter. Grizzlies have the 16-15 lead with 4:04 left in the game.

At the very least it is Chicago's opportunity to take a very close look at Pau at a time when all this is simmering. A kind of inadvertent tryout.
Luckily for me, it is also one of the few Grizz games I get to see in its entirety on television. I'm taping it so I can fast forward through the commercials. I'm glad Rudy is back --- that adds a lot for me. Also particularly looking forward to seeing Juan Carlos. Hope Mike Miller is playing, too.
I hope the guys have a great game.
