The playoffs are set to begin on Saturday. Of the 8 matchup brackets, which team(s) you feel are capable of pulling the upset in the playoffs? Which team are you pulling for to go the distance and win the championship?
I always expect thrillers in the playoffs like the matchup between the Warriors and Mavs of last year's playoffs or with the Spurs/Suns matchup as well. With this year's playoffs. My upset I'm dictating is the Hornets over the Mavs 4-2. Why? The Hornets have the athleticism on their side and are capable of making the Mavs run for their money. CP3 has own J-Kidd in all 4 matchups during the regular season. Also the Mavs are under pressure to survive the first tound after getting outsmarted and embarrassed by the Warriors last year. Also with CP3 passing game, he's able to keep his teammates involve in the games. Which means everybody needs to be on point to spread out the offense and to attack the boards. If the Mavs win, it will be to avoid last year's embarrassment, save Avery Johnson's job, have the playoff experience while exposing the Hornets lack of playoff experience and lead a blitz from beyond the arc.
As to who might make it down to the final two. I'm expecting one of these teams.
Celtics vs. Spurs
Despite the Spurs age overall of the team, it would be decent to see them repeat as champs. For the Celts, the PGA clik, provide the Celts the neccessary offensive attack to push the Celts through a hard fought playoff race. With the Spurs, the Celts offense might struggle a bit to stay fully consistant if they happen to meet the Spurs. With that, the Spurs win it all 4-2.
