The Grizzlies promoted former VP of Finances Greg Campbell to the President of Business Operations on Thursday. He brings 20 yrs of sports business to his new position. After a lenghty process, his hiring was consider the best option over former Memphis mayor Dick Hackett, who was considered the top runner for the job.

Unless there is a quality product on the floor, his job is going to be harder than having Memphians abstain from barbecue.

What are the duties of the President of Business Operations?
Seemed as if Andy Dolich took care of ticket sales and special promotions, anything else?

Seriously, GrizzledGriz. I certainly would not blame this guy if the Grizz failed to draw fans. The ownership has made his job very difficult.
