I was just coming up with possible trades that the Heat could make for a PG if we take Beasley with our 2nd pick and I came up with this trade...

Udonis Haslem
2009 2nd Rounder

For

Javaris Crittenton
Jason Collins

How would you guys feel about that trade if it went down? You guys have a stockpile at PG and you need some defense upfront. Udonis makes pretty much the same amount of money as Collins, expect he ahs one more year to his deal then Collins contract.

love it...especially if we can get Mayo.

I really like Haslem's game.

Memphis couldn't agree to this deal fast enough if they draft a shooting guard.

I'm still not sure that Crit is an NBA PG???

How would you guys feel if it was Lowry or even Conely instead?

Here is another trade I was thinking about:

MIA GETS: Javaris Crittenton and S&T Juan Carlos Navarro
MEM GETS: Udonis Haslem

or

MIA GETS: Kyle Lowry and S&T Juan Carlos Navarro
MEM GETS; Udonis Haslem

Side note: I would want Jerryd Bayless if I was a Grizzles fan and play him as a SG. Conley-Bayless-Gay is a scaring trio on the perimeter. Mayo isnt the explosive athlete Bayless is and feel that he could thrive as more of a combo guard rather than PG.

We don't really have a need for JCN. We would already have 3 solid PGs if we did that (not counting him, but counting the other PG we get), and from what I saw hes more of a SG, and of course we already have Wade and Cook.

I wouldnt like to trade Crittenton before watching what he can do. I think he can develop much more.

Then what about Conley or Lowry?

Lol bg, I didn't know you posted on here.

And I would hate that, I want us to take Beasley and trade Haslem for a PG.

I wouldnt trade them either. Just in case we got something better. Anyway, im dissapointed with Conley, maybe just because i expected a lot from him, i dont know.

I have seen something in lowry, i would have him in the team for years.

LOL. I thought that user name seemed familiar. I have seen Sal over on the Miami boards as well.

I know you and others would not like it, but my scenario goes something like this:

Memphis receives:

Blount
Smush
#2 - Beasley

Miami recieves:

Miller
Warrick
#5 - Mayo
#28 (if necessary)

Of course Minny and Seattle would have to pass on Mayo for that to work, but you guys would get a better replacement for Kapono and fill your need at PG.

Another Heat fan here. No way we trade Beasley for anything less than an absolute STUD.

I made mention of this on the Miami trade thread, but what exactly are you guys referring to in a stud? Do you mean proven stud?

Stud as in an all-star, Riley has already said this. Unless you guys feel like parting with Rudy gay I doubt we would trade back with you guys, and theres a great chance Mayo isn't there at 5.

I got a question though, why does everyone around here not like Conley? I didn't see him play much so I don't know, was he that bad? I mean, he could still very well be your PG of the future.

Here is Memphis fan. To Miami fans.... How about trade

Miller+Critt+28th <-> Marion?

You want Mike Miller, a very decent 3pt shooter, who you have eager to get and there's a rumor for Marion to leave with forfeiting his P.O. You can keep Haslem as PF and reinforce SF postion with Miller and also PG with Critt. Moreover you can secure more salary room to dispose Shawns huge salary.

We also want cap space and the better player. Keeping Marion means he we get cap space and have Marion, the better player, for a year (he is not opting out, because no one is going to pay him the $17 million he's due from Miami). We then let him walk and use his cash to go after a guy like Boozer or Brand.

We're not dealing Marion unless we get one hell of a deal. This isn't...

Why does everyone think we want Miller so badly?

Because word was that Riley was trying to deal for him at the trade deadline.
