Why is everyone on this board so low on him? No one seems to be convinced hes the PG of the future yet hes only played one season.

Sure there are. I think Rose is a better prospect, but I love Conley. It's extremely rare that a rookie pg (that's splitting time, no less) can take over a club and help them out immediately. I expect that Conley will come back next season and average at least 12/6. Remember that he was only a freshman in college last year...

I don't think everyone is low on him. What people have seen here locally is the play of D Rose and like most everyone else in the NBA, drool over the thought of having him on the team. D Rose is that special.

Mike Conley's first year was solid. He did get injured and was pulled at the end of several games by the coach, in lieu of Kyle Lowry. We would like to have seen him play more than he did, but we expect great things from him this year.

I have high hopes for Conley. I think with any young pg, fans are a little impatient because they take longer than most positions to improve at.
