Let's just say common sense obviously didn't enter Heisley and makes CW look like a fool.

As someone who used to live near Vancouver, I'll never much if any sympathy for Heisley. I do feel sorry for the Memphis-based Grizz fans who have to deal with such a crappy owner.
Can someone remind me how he took the Grizz to Memphis? I remember who wanted to relocate them to St Louis, but how did they wind up in Memphis? Was it because St Louis rejected his terms, while the city of Memphis agreed to them?

Well, maybe amazing isn't the proper word.
You know, it really is amazing that certain people spend their time discussing the organization on an internet message board.
Regarding the article, it seems to me that Wallace really was brought in to take the fall for Heisley's unpopular moves.

Still, if you are going to accept a job just to be the fall guy, wouldn't you get out before you are blamed for some of these terrible moves? Dignity or money? I have very little sympathy for both Wallace and Heisley, regardless of who is pulling the strings.

When you look at the situation you can't help but laugh?
Wallace is a company man that is all he knows, and at no point in his career has he had true autonomy. Wallace took one for the team by continuing to sell that farce of a trade. The main reason for the deal was financial flexibility, so who would have the biggest interest in that? The owner who signs the checks. Wallace will not be free to tell the truth until he is away from the organization with another team. We are quickly learning if we haven't already to not place too much stock into what is coming out of Michael Heisleys mouth.
NEWS FLASH - Do not expect any significant free agent signings this year,
our owner is attempting to recoup financial losses.

Grizzlies owner Michael Heisley talked to 3S0B about the yahoo article that came out Tuesday about him being displeased about not getting enough value out the Gasol deal and not being on the same page with Chris Wallace. According to Heisley, the article by Adrian Wojnarowski was miscontruded and his words were twisted to get Heisley into bad PR.
