Mike Miller Appreciation Thread

Post#1 » by stro4swift » Fri Jun 27, 2008 3:51 pm

Even if I'm excited about the Grizzlies getting Mayo, I hate that Mike Miller had to go in that trade.

He was a great player and a very nice guy. I wish him the best of luck even though he's joining another team in rebuilding mode.

I guess the Wolves liked what they saw when he knocked down 8 treys in his last game against them last season!

Yeah Miller is a STEEP price, you guys will like Mayo, but I don't understand this trade. I really think MIN wins, Love+Miller for OJ, but OJ Mayo is a fantastic player and is a winner. Damn' you guys just got a lot more athletic, explosive, easy scorer, nice defender, want's to be great...Can't coach that stuff. Good luck Memphis...Pau for Gay? ;).

M&M was a solid player while he lasted here. Good offensive player, but lack the ability to play better defense. He was also involved in the St. Jude charities which earned him some awards. He will be missed here, but changes were needed and Mike was one of those changes.

Most stretches he was the only one playing to win. He is an ultimate professional.

Very true. He stepped up in other aspects of the game to make up for the voids present in the paint. Miller rebounding numbers skyrocketed this season- this just demonstrates how committed he was to winning and leading our franchise. Best of luck to him in the future.
