Kinsey To Cavs

After a few months playing ball overseas, former Grizz Tarence Kinsey has been signed by the Cavs. Can't say how many minutes TKO will get with LBJ in the front. Hopefully, if he'll get the chance, Kinsey will take advantage and play smart to earn a spot on the roster.

Scrub love for TK! I still contend the Grizz were silly for letting him go. Hope he has a chance to play some in Cleveland.

i agree....the grizz should have kept him last year....i think he has alot of potential, he had flashes of brilliance in the 2006-2007 season when he actually got some playing time at the end of the season.

^^Nope. I think that if given some decent minutes that Kinsey should be able to prove to coaching staff that he's worth a spot on the roster.

Shannon Brown was on the roster but received little playing time- that's the basis for my comparison. Also both do not possess great range on their shot.


Imo, he is certainly more effective than Kinsey.

I haven't seen Brown play at all. Need you to break his play down for me.

Yeah, I basically did. He is a talented combo guard who is deadly from the midrange and attacking the hoop. But, like Kinsey, has very limited range. Plus, I feel that Kinsey, like Brown, won't see the light of day off the Cleveland bench. (that's not really a knock on Tarence, but speaks more to the Cavs roster)

Mainly due to LBJ eating up minutes at the SG spot. That's been one of my concerns about Kinsey as one of the Cavs.

And I haven't seen Kinsey play but i hear he plays defense- one thing Mike Brown Loves and Shannon Brown didn't do. If he can play good defense (especially after the acquisition of Mo) and Pavs continues to suck then he might get some minutes (more so if we don't bring Delonte back)

I always thought he was underrated. I hope Kinsey shines with the Cavs.
