Grizz/Magic

Post#1 » by The Magic Man » Sat Nov 29, 2008 11:40 pm

Im a Magic fan and I thought of a trade offer and I wanted some Grizz fans thoughts.

Grizz trade:J.Critt,Warrick
Magic trade:Reddick,Cook,1rd,trade exception 3.5mil

You guys get a 3pt shooter and a expiring contract and you get a 1rd pick.I think this trade would help you guys because you are basically trading 1 player Warrick because Critt doesn't see the court at all.I think I read a article that you guys were on the market for a outside shooter and you get 2 guys who does exactly that.So I think its a win win situation for both teams, the Magic get much needed depth at the pg and pf positions.

So would you guys do this deal?

Myself, I don't have much interest in Reddick - he's a great shooter, but the rest of his game leaves alot to be desired IMO. If the interest is there, and other shooters can't be had, I suppose this deal is possible - but I still wouldn't prefer it.

I wouldn't touch that deal with a 10 foot pole if I were Wallace. How does that trade make the Grizz better at all. The two best players in that trade end up in ORL.

JJ is tearing up that 3pt line this year (27%)!

That is one of the worst things i have ever laid eyes. U should be ashamed of yourself for that. Redick shouldnt even be in the NBA and Brian Cook is garbage as well. Why would we trade two young, promising players for those god awful excuses for basketball players. I hate how ppl think Redick is a good shooter, he really isnt, he was overhyped in college. He is showing his worth, not even producing on a team desperate for a SG. Redick is avg 4 ppg and is 27% from 3 pt range. Solid!!!!!

with all due respect, JCritt can't make it off the bench, orlando just needs a PG and he would be nice with dwight... factor into that, that you get another first in the draft and i dunno what's wrong with that trade... it's not like there are even any real MLE players in that deal.

JJ is getting minutes on one of the best teams in the league. Critt can't get off the bench on a bad team. To call Critt one of the 2 best players in this trade is like me saying Gortat is better than Warrick, because in my mind I believe it to be so.

Critt has shown to be very good at wearing suits, but that is about it. The guy was not even that good in college.

So which are you saying:
1) Reddick would get minutes over Conley, Lowry & Mayo or
2) Critt couldnt get minutes from Bogans and Johnson (with Lee injured)
Because you have to be saying one of those two things or else you making a completely disingenuous point. I'd also note that Reddick collected another DNP-CD last night - guess Lee was back, huh?

Critt is on the verge of being traded to Washington for picks.
