I'e followed him since he was in college playing with Josh Pace(whatever happened to him?) I know you guys have a ton of youth and Crittenton, Mayo, Gay, Warick, and Gasol would be a nice starting five down the road. I noticed that Warrick comes off the bench. We all seen wha he can do wne given minutes( when Pau Gasol went down and even after the Gasol trade) He has posted number that wee very good and then he as moved to the bench this seaon. Is there a reason for this? I think that Mayo, Gay, and Warrick would hve been a nice young big 3 now and then ion the future. Is there something that I don't know about Warrick? If so please fill me in.

I'm guessing you're talking about Hakim Warrick.

He is what he is. Up and down offense and 0 defense. He has the build of 3 but the skill set of a 4. He's a tweener in the worst way. He'd be a good bench/rotation player on a good team - that's about it.

*Hakim* Warrick doesn't play any defense (ok, every now and then he gets a block by being the help defender) and that's limited him to a role of instant offense off the bench. Although you could also say that our bench is anemic on the offensive end, so we bring him off the bench because no one else on the bench can score. I guess it depends on your perspective.

Also, the Grizz traded Critt to the Wizards a couple of weeks ago.

His jump shot has improved by leaps and bounds since graduating from 'Cuse. His jump shot from 17 feet or so has become reliable. He still looks awkward when playing in the post because he's too thin to bang with most power forwards. He's also a bit of a black hole due to the way Iavaroni uses him as a offensive spark plug off the bench.

Otherwise, he's still the same old Hak.

Hakim is a black hole regardless of how he's used.

Agreed that he can only be a good bench player in a good team.

Long time no chat! Hope all of you guys are doing well! Glad to see you've finally seen the light with Warrick's D.

I haven't seen him play in ages but I think he would be best used as a SF. His D is horrible but as an SF he could help his team's rebounding. His size edge might help his D because he would probably be effective at contesting jumpshots and picking up the occasional block that way, and it would keep him out of the paint where he's never been reliable defensively.
