Arthur will apparently continue to get consistently inconsistent PT. Start some game, barely play in others. Only the Shadow knows the way of the Ivy...

though memphis wanted to build around him

Arthur is a rookie. He's a rookie who will be a future contributor. The Grizz are building around Mayo/Gay/Gasol - Arthur appears to be a piece of the puzzle, but not a key component at this time.

so why not give him as much pt in the next few months?

He had a minor injury that took away some PT. Hak has played a little better which took some PT. Darko being out will add to his PT. Depending on match ups, he should continue to get at least 20 min a night from here on out.

I would think so, he has all the tools to be a good power forward in the league.

He's a very good athlete with solid offensive skills and has shown he can rebound well. Once he adds some muscle and learns how to play defense without fouling, he'll be the goods.

Right now, he's in a Udonis Haslem-like role of hitting his mid-range jump shots and rebounding but in due time I think he can be like a slightly less athletic Antonio McDyess.

I think somewhere in the vicinity of 15-20 minutes is reasonable.

I must say....that I have not seen too much from Arthur to think it was a good signing for us......

He was a late first round pick, widely considered to be a lottery pick until until later-proven-false health concerns caused him to drop. He wasn't a free agent signing.

If you're going to get technical jefe, go all the way, we didn't even draft him - we traded for him ;)

Before Darko went down with his injury, it was working out like this:
Darko - 24-30 MPG
Marc - 28-32 MPG
Hak - 20-25 MPG
Darell - 15 MPG
