The Memphis Grizzlies have reassigned Kevin O’Neill to the new role of special assistant to the general manager, Grizzlies General Manager and Vice President of Basketball Operations Chris Wallace announced today. “Kevin O’Neill was instrumental in our draft preparations last year, which resulted in bringing O.J. Mayo and Darrell Arthur to the Grizzlies,” Wallace said.

Hopefully KO will find success in the front office. Head Coaching and "Defensive Guru" roles certainly didn't pan out for him at the NBA level.

Especially with the previous coach that was in place.

Ahhh the Dick Versace role of you will work here until your contract is up in a meaningless position with no authority.
