The Memphis Grizzlies reached a buyout agreement and waived guard Steve Francis, Grizzlies General Manager and Vice President of Basketball Operations Chris Wallace announced today.

And today, the Grizzlies announced they had reached a buyout agreement and waived him.

Francis was listed on 12/3/08 as out indefinitely due to a knee injury.

Any thoughts of where he could play and how is he playing now?

good move. some of that buyout money will be reimbursed anyway by that extra luxury tax share thanks to their own signing of Miles.

Did we really have any intention of giving this guy another chance? Where do you all think he will end up next?

Francis might seek out a playoff team that could use him like the Celts or the Suns for instance.

I had such high hopes that the Grizz and Francis could see that they needed each other and they belong together, like Ross Gellar and Rachel Green, but alas it was not to be.

I guess we still hold a grudge.....and I hate to say it, but Francis sort of deserves it after that comment.
