This game, I would feed Marc Gasol the ball in the post. Songaila isn't know for his defense in the post plus he's an undersize 6'8/6'9 PF to boot. Keep the rebounds in the Grizz favor. Grizz need to play all four quarters, not 2, not 3, but all 4 quarters. Make sure Jamison and Butler work for their shots. Keep the scrubs like McGee and Young from contributing to the Wizard cause.

sorry guys I might be the first person to say this on the fourm. But no offense to all those Marc Gasol lovers. The guy is overrated he is no where comparable to his brother who was legend and will never be. He is the type of player who is always going to be inconsistent in which we can see by looking at his stats. I might be wrong but personally I see this in his game and this is only my opinion. I dont need a lot of people to Jump me and say well your wrong. You all can have your own opinion.

Battle of the bottom feeders! Hopefully we come out on top with big games from our bigs. Perimeter defense will be key...

You are definitely the first person I've seen call Marc Gasol overrated.
All Wizards will enjoy this win - but none as much as JCRITT

That's because there is an agenda in mind when calling him that.

^^ Trust me there's no agenda. I personally believe this by looking at his game. You can think otherwise that's your choice. Yeah he maybe better than a lot of Memphis players but he is just inconsistent and he doesn't step up to the plate more often than not.

Memphis is going to win this game I have a feeling. They are playing good in the second quarter.

http://www.nba.com/games/20090202/MEMWAS/recap.htmlIt's about time they got a win. The Grizzlies are 1-3 under Lionel Hollins. OJ Mayo was on fire scoring 33pts and 4 dimes. Marc Gasol got 22pts and grabbed 11rebs. Rudy Gay scored 23pts and grabbed 8rebs. Greg Buckner made an appearance and chipped in 9pts and 7rebs.
The only down note for the Grizzlies was when guard Kyle Lowry left the court early in the second quarter after a collision with the Wizards' Dominic McGuire, hopping on his left foot out the tunnel to the locker room. Lowry sprained his right ankle and did not return.
"We don't know the extent he'll be out,'' Hollins said
Unfortunately, Lowry is expected to be out for two to three weeks with a sprain ankle.
