Considering the Thunder will be playing w/o KD in this one. It would be wise if the Grizz find a way to exploit the disadvantage the Thunder find themselves in. On the other hand, the Thunder managed to hang around against the Mavs last night despite the final score. The Grizz have to play better defensively as they will be dealing with a more athletic Thunder lineup tonight. Unless the Grizz crank that defense up, the Thunder could take this one.

Thunder lead the Grizzlies 23-12. The combo of Green, Weaver, and Westbrook are dominating the Grizz on the offensive end basically outscoring the Grizz starters 19-12. Defensively, the Grizz need to get their heads in the game if they wish to break the losing skid. Which is all but doubtful with the way the first quarter is going so far.

Good first half. You guys started looking really solid in the early second quarter. That's probably the best half of basketball on the offensive side that Arthur has had all season. He looked skilled and confident, which both have avoided him at different times this season.

In the third, the Thunder lead the Grizzlies 74-58. Mayo, Arthur, and Conley combined for 51 of the Grizzlies points. Westbrook and Green combine for 37 of the Thunder's points.

Two teams searching for their identities. The real question is which of these teams if any have a chance of making it to the playoff level next year?

I think Oklahoma should aim for James Harden. He is the outside threat they need at guard and he has the NBA body necessary to make drives and kick the ball effectively. Even if they have to trade Westbrook away to get the 3rd pick they should do it. Westbrook is not a great passer for PG or great shooter at SG.

They should trade their first/Westbrook for the 3rd and a mid 1st. It might take a 3 team trade, but that is very doable. To add to Harden they could get Teague, Curry, Jennings, Lawson or Mills at PG with that mid 1st. It would just depend on who is available, but those are all great options! Most likely it would be Mills/Curry/Lawson. Though if Curry has another great tourney, he'll be a top 10 pick. But if you can get Curry at the mid 1st taht would be amazing. Mills and Lawson are real sleepers though.

So your starting line-up would be:

PG - Lawson
SG - Harden
SF - Durant
PF - Green
C - Krstic/Collinson

The center spot is looking slim this year in the draft. But if a guy like Mullens is available mid 1st or you traded down there are solid guys like Ogillvy or J Jordan available at late first. Then I like guys like T Rice in the 2nd.

More than likely you guys will get 4 of 5 spots covered. You will have to wait another year to get that 5th spot solidified. Not to mention the Okie bench is one of the worst in the league IMO. I do like how Kyle Weaver is coming along though..

Are you sure you aren't looking for the OKC forum?

You should've went for the Thunder. More athletic lineup and the Grizz defense tend not to do well defensively agaisnt teams with a better athletic lineups.

Your team made me sick to my stomach.

We were supposed to keep losing w/o durant to increase our chances with the ping pong balls this summer, but NOOOOOO you guys had to go and let us win!

Damn you!!!

The Grizz have a better record and the Thunder were missing Durant. I think it was anything but obvious.

Blame Jeff Green. Enough said.
